Postdoctoral researcher Dr Romy Ettlinger won a prize for her research poster at the recent Joint Research Office (JRO) meeting to foster links between the University of St Andrews and NHS Fife. Romy’s project is aimed at developing new face masks specifically designed to capture viruses. The JRO is a new initiative, led by the School of Medicine, aimed at improving our links to the NHS.
