Coffee Connect

Coffee Connect matches you up with an alumnus to have a relaxed chat over virtual coffee, discuss career matters, and grow your network. The Careers Centre will take the stress out of networking by making the connection for you. 

All students can participate in Coffee Connect. 

Applying

All Coffee Connect pairings and communication will be through Saint Connect, the University of St Andrews’ global, online community for students, alumni and friends of the University.  

If you do not have a Saint Connect account, you will need to join Saint Connect to participate in Coffee Connect. 

1. Click on the Connections and Mentoring tab in Saint Connect. Select the tile for the current Coffee Connect. 
2. Complete the mentee application. 
3. A match will be made within two weeks after the closing date for applications. This match is based on the information in your application, including: 
   • your degree 
   • the industry you’re interested in 
   • where you would like to work. 
4. Find details of your connection in the My Connections tab (within Connections and Mentoring). 
5. Contact your mentee within a month of the connection being made to start a friendly, casual conversation.
