Business Transformation team
The Business Transformation Board (BTB) and its portfolio of initiatives are supported by the Business Transformation team, which consists of a support team and two delivery teams.
The delivery teams are made up of business analysts and project managers who work together on assigned initiatives as prioritised by the BTB.
The business analyst and project manager both play leadership roles - the business analyst in defining the problem or opportunity and ensuring the solution meets the business need and the project manager for leading the team and delivering the solution. These two roles, equally, are required for project success.
The purpose of the support team is to provide:
- portfolio support services to enable the Business Transformation Board to prioritise, plan and guide the Business Transformation Portfolio
- programme and project support services to support staff delivering business transformation programmes and projects
- centre of expertise services to support the delivery of the BTP and its constituent portfolios, programmes and projects through the provision of standard methods and processes, ensuring they are deployed appropriately through training, coaching, internal consultancy, knowledge management and assurance.
