Tailored courses
The University can design and deliver tailor-made courses for groups of any age.
The content and structure of these courses are designed to match the specific requirements of partner organisations.
The University has extensive experience in creating courses for educational institutions, as well as other types of organisations.
Subject areas covered
Courses can include content from any of the University’s academic areas, as well as sports and cultural activities. Where we do not cover a particular subject area, we may be able to pull expertise from a neighbouring institution.
The University can design and deliver blended and online courses, as well as residential courses.
Subject areas covered in previous tailored courses include:
- teaching training and professional development for language teachers
- English language for adults, teenagers or younger children
- English language combined with academic content in many disciplines
- Scottish culture
- science and culture
- philosophy, politics and economics
- religious philosophy
- international business and negotiations.
For English language and international business and negotiations subjects, we may be able to accept individual participants on courses already arranged with partners. Please email ie@st-andrews.ac.uk for further information.
