Research areas
Lorenzo's main research interests are in applied microeconomics, labour economics, economics of education and urban economics. His current agenda focuses on (i) the interplay between schools and neighbourhoods in shaping student outcomes and households' location decisions and (ii) the role of school governance and management practices in explaining school effectiveness.
