John Wilson
John Wilson is Professor of Banking & Finance and Head of Department of Finance at the University of St Andrews Business School. He is also Director of the Centre for Responsible Banking & Finance.
John serves as Editor to Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, and Associate Editor to:
- Journal of Money Credit and Banking
- Journal of Financial Stability
- British Accounting Review
- European Journal of Finance
- Finance Research Letters.
He is a Member of Scientific Advisory Board of Chartered Association of Business Schools Academic Journal Guide (ABS Journal Rankings) and serves as a member of the Conference of Professors of Accounting & Finance Executive. Committee. He also served as a full panel member to the 2021 Research Evaluation Framework, Sub-panel: Business and Management Studies, and is a member of the UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) subject statement benchmarking panel for Finance.
John has engaged extensively with policy and practice, providing advice to a variety of organisations including:
