Enduring Gifts
The exhibition 'Enduring Gifts: 600 years of Philanthropy in St Andrews' ran from 17 March to 30 June 2018. It explored a range of donations and the motivations behind them, revealing how these charitable acts have shaped the University’s existence.

The exhibit "Catch of the Day" looked at the topic of fish, its role in the Scottish diet, and how catches and consumption have changed and might change again in the future.

Victorian Visions: Discovery and Restoration in St Andrews
'Victorian Visions – Discovery and Restoration in St Andrews' was an exhibition that strove to educate visitors on the preservation, excavation, and discovery of the town of St Andrews during the Victorian period (1837-1901).

Skyward
Fife-based photographer Kit Martin blurs the lines between art and science in a new exhibition that highlights the creatures that inspired, over a century ago, a University of St Andrews professor’s quest to take to the skies. Using winged specimens from the Bell Pettigrew Museum, named in honour of the local aeronautical pioneer, Martin provides a contemporary lens through which to appreciate both the art, and science, of flight.

Sewing Independence
Holding a beautiful collection of embroidered works, the Wemyss School of Needlework showcases its collection in its first major exhibition outside of the school since 1936. Discover a stunning array of extraordinary needlework produced in East Fife. Explore the history and continuing legacy of the institution that offered the opportunity for the daughters of local miners and farmers to stitch their way to independence.

Treasures of the Kingdom
Explore the wonders of Fife’s Archaeology - let your eyes be drawn to the carved whirls of Pictish stone carvings and wonder at the gleam of gold on a medieval skeleton ring. From Bronze Age pots to Roman broaches and Medieval badges , the exhibition showcases some of the fascinating finds from across the Kingdom. The Exhibition also explores styles of decoration and adornment through the ages. Visitors can also enjoy a programme of activities including talks and workshops with something for every age group.

Making Waves
The exhibition chosen represent an exciting time in scientific innovation and discovery; scientists studying how we perceive sound and figuring out ways to measure or demonstrate it, resulted in the creation of instruments that are still relevant in the world today. They have also come to influence a huge range of fields, from musical acoustics, to using sonar to study underwater.
