1413 Teaching Excellence Awards.
School of Art History Lecturer Dr Billy Rough has been awarded one of the University’s four Teaching Excellence Awards for the academic session 2024-25. These awards recognise the best teaching in the University.
The nomination highlighted Billy’s commitment to improving the UG curriculum and in particular his transformative and innovative work in developing modules for the Combined Studies programme. Also noted was his work in developing the pioneering Postgraduate Taught Digital Art History programme, supporting the University’s digital strategy, and an outstanding engagement with students through an encouraging and inclusive learning environment.
Billy will receive his award from the Principal at the Teaching Excellence Awards ceremony on 22nd April at Parliament Hall.
