Advocating for Art History

The Association for Art History (AAH) has published a document Art History Toolkit - For Art History with recommendations, data, and resources to advocate for art history at universities and beyond. This includes the benefits of the discipline, information on employability and other resources for staff and students.

The AAH Art History Now campaign presents Art History Now - For Art History in which “Art History Advocates,” high-profile people in and outside of the art world have provided quotes on the value of art history – to them and in general terms. In addition, there is a series of videos featuring art history graduates who have gone on to a wide range of careers both in and outside of the art history/art fields.
