‘Videoletters’ article
PGR student Lexington Davis’s essay, 'Creating a “Feminist Nation”: The International Videoletters Network, 1975–77' explores how International Videoletters, a 1970s women's video exchange network, fostered a feminist counterpublic committed to transforming media representation of women. The article, which is published in the Fall 2023 issue of Feminist Media Histories, was co-winner of the 2023 Society for Cinema and Media Studies Gender and Feminisms Caucus Graduate Student Writing Prize.
