Deans of Faculty

The University appoints a Dean to lead each of its faculties. The University of St Andrews has four faculties; the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Divinity, the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Science. The University's Schools and departments all belong to one of the four faculties. The Faculties of Arts and Divinity is led by the AVP Dean of Arts and Divinity, the Faculty of Science is led by the AVP Dean of Science and the Faculty of Medicine is led by the Dean of Medicine.

All Deans are appointed by University Court on the recommendation of the Principal. Deans of Faculty report directly to the Master.
