Dr Madhavi Nevader

The current Associate Dean Curriculum for the Faculty of Arts and Divinity is Dr Madhavi Nevader.

Madhavi Nevader

Madhavi Nevader is a Lecturer in the School of Divinity. She works primarily on the political thought of the Hebrew Bible in conversation with the literary corpora of the wider Ancient Near East, but also has a keen interest in the biblical reception history and what role the Bible plays in contemporary culture.

Madhavi has served as Director of Postgraduate Teaching, Director of EDI, and Honours and Subhonours Adviser of Studies in the School of Divinity. She currently sits on the Scottish Graduate School of Arts and Humanities (SGSAH) Discipline Catalyst Group for Theology, Divinity and Religions. And when she isn’t doing all of this, she loves playing her cello.
