Award for innovative pedagogy

The Department of Management is delighted to congratulate Dr Xi Xi who has won the University of St Andrews 1413 Teaching Excellence Award. 

Dr Xi received the award from the Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dame Sally Mapstone, in a celebration at Parliament Hall. 

The awards are given for outstanding contribution to learning and teaching across the University.  One of just five recipients this year, Dr Xi was recognised for her innovative pedagogy, course design and work towards decolonising the Management curriculum.

Dr Xi joins the list of Management staff recognised previously in the annual awards for teaching excellence, including Dr Lucy Wishart in 2021Dr Anna Brown and Dr Lori Leigh Davis in 2019 and Dr Sandra Romenska in 2017.
