The Academic Promotions process for 2025 was launched on Friday 6 December 2024. The closing date for applications is Monday 10 February 2025. No exceptions to this closing date will be made.

What is the timetable for the 2025 Promotions process?

Launch Promotions: Friday 6 December 2024

Closing date for applications: Monday 10 February 2025

Reference requests issued: Monday 24 February 2025

Head of School requests issued: Monday 24 February 2025

Deadline for receipt of references and Head of School reports: Monday 24 March 2025

Panel meetings: Tuesday 10 June 2025 and Wednesday 11 June 2025

Outcome letters will be issued (via email) to all applicants during week commencing Monday 14 July 2025

Academic Promotions question and answer sessions

Briefing Sessions will be held on Friday 10 January 2025 at 3 pm (on Teams) and Monday 27 January 2025 at 3.30 pm (this is an in person session and will be held within Parliament Hall).  If you would like to attend one of these sessions, please arrange to book your place via PDMS:-
